#beautiesonfire Forgotten Favorites

Hey guys I’m back.  I know I’ve been quiet all week.  I was stuck in a “no one care” mind frame so I didn’t see a point to blogging.  So I didn’t. But I’m over feeling like that so I’m just going to carry on pretending that I don’t feel so insignificant.  Anxiety is fun.

So this weeks theme was forgotten favorites, and if any of you knew high school me then you would know that glitter and shiny lip gloss were my makeup staples. I had so many different glitters and I would pack on so much glitter that disco balls were jelous.  So I thought I throw back to an updated version of my basic teenager Johnnielynn look.So I started with Covergirls TruBLEND liquid foundation then I took Ready set Gorgeous concelear In a lighter shade then my foundation, to highlight under my eyes, and a NYX Photogenic Concealer in about 5 shades darker then my foundation to contour (the concealer I use for blemishes is a 3, and the one I used is an 8). For blush I used NYX High Definition Blush in the shade electro.

Then for my eyes I started with a white LA Colors jumbo Eye crayon as a base. Then I blended a little bit of the black from a NYX Smokey Shadow Palette through my crease. Then to I took a Wet n wild Color Icon Glitter single and packed it on over my lid. Then I used It Cosmetics No Tug Waterproof Gel Eyeliner in black to line my lash line and my water line. Then I used Max Factor X Masterpiece Max Mascara. I finished off with a glittery Shiny Lip Gloss from Mary Kay (I’ve had it for a while so I don’t know what color it is)

This look is so similar to how I loved to do my makeup when I was in high school. I still love anything with glitter, but I have toned down to more of a subtly shimmery eye shadow looks, and I’ve switched from shiny lip gloss to matte lipstick.  As I said earlier this is a part of the Beautiesonfire  collab posts.
