So I am back with another Ipsy look! I would have expected that after a year I would no longer be extremely excited by my ipsy subscription, but nope! It’s still my favorite part of every month. So I didn’t get around to creating a post for ipsy, or any makeup posts in like two months. I’ve just spent a lot of time feeling anxious, and I was never happy with any of the looks I’d tried, or how any of the pictures I took looked. But I am feeling better about it and I wanted to share with you my August/September Ipsy look.
(note: I did Photoshop the background but only because there was a lot of stuff going on,)
To create this look I started with Cover Girl True Blend foundation (L2) and blended it in all over my skin. Then I took Cover Girl Ready set gorgeous concealer in a lighter shade to brighten under my eyes. I then used NYX HD Finishing power to set it all. Then I took the bright peachy pink blush from my Broadway color Powder cheek palette kit –I got this for $5 at Dollar General and I love it! I filled my brows in using Paula Dorf Universal Brow Pencil in Taupe.
For my eyes, I used Elizabeth Mott Pop goes the shadow in gun metel in the center and outer corner of my eyes Using a Luxie Medium Angled shading brush. On the inner corner I applied The Balm’s Balm Voyage Vol II Kuwakaribisha then blended them together with SL MissGlam T35 Percise Blending brush. After that I lined my eyes with Ciate Londen Wonderland gel liner pencil. Then I curled my lashes and applied Makeup Forever Excessive Lash Mascara. For my lips I used Colour Pop Lippie Stix Pimer, and went over it with a Lippie Stix in Glam Bag.
I Love all of the products that ipsy sent me this month and last! Have you subscribed to ipsy yet. If not Click Here!
