No makeup, Look

I’ve recently fallen in love with very subtle makeup.  That has inspired me to post a “No makeup, makeup look”  I’ve actually got two, one with basically no makeup, and another more done up that just looks like very little makeup.

For this look I put on Pixel Concealer to cover any blemishes. Then blended it with a Moda Complexion brush. Then Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous conlealer in a lighter shade, to brighten up my eyes (and to avoid the “are you dyeing?” questions). After that I put Ofra Universal Eyebrow Pencil to line my upper and lower lash line (but not on the water line) and smudged it a tiny bit with my finger. Then I used Pixel Triple Boost Mascara to give my lashes a more fuller look while still keeping a natural look. Then I finished it up with Katy Kat Matte Lipstick in the color catoure.

Another option for a “no makeup” look but a little more done up. I started with Rimmel London Lasting finish foundation. Then I used a matte peachy color from my Jesse’s Girl 9 pan shadow dream girl compact all over my eyelid. Then I lined my eyes with a black pencil eyeliner just on the water line, and I smudged a tiny bit on the bottom lash line. Then I applied some Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous conlealer in a lighter shade than my foundation to brighten up under my eyes. On my cheeks, I used Tanya Burrs Rosy Flush Cheek Palette for a subtle contour and highlight, and light blush. I also filled in my eyebrows using her Perfect Brow palette. Then I used Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder to blend it all together. I stuck with Pixel Triple Boost Mascara for full yet natural looking lashes. I finished the look with Tanya Burr Soft Luxe Lip gloss in Rhubarb and Custard.

The best thing about a “no Makeup” look is that you are spotlighting your natural beauty. As much as I love a real done up glamorous look, there’s something so lovely about a more subtle, and more natural look. I’ve been really loving these looks so much lately.  Plus it saves so much time in the mornings as it doesn’t take as much effort, but it still looks like I put in plenty of effort into it.
