A few weeks ago I received a Pores Be Pure Mud Mask from my ipsy glam bag. I loved it, so I emailed them and they sent me some more products to try. Last week if you remember I did the daily use products, so this week let me tell you about their masks.
Three times sublime: This 3-in-1 is a cleanser, scrub and a mask all in one tube. After washing and drying your face, apply a thin layer of this mask. then allow the uplifting sweet sent of grape fruit boost your mood, while it cleanses your skin. Then after about 15 minutes rinse it off allowing the Jojoba beads to exfoliate leaving your skin, soft smooth and clean. I use this when I feel like my skin needs a boost of cleansing, if my pores are more noticeable or I just feel like pampering my self with a mask and a bubble bath.
Get Your Glow On: This is Peel off mask is made with Papaya and Citrus to help resurface skin and boost brightness. Once you smooth it on give it about 15 minutes to dry and then peel it off to remove dead skin cells, and unclog pores. I’m not going to lie, I had way more fun peeling the mask off the I probably should have. Kind of like when you were little and would put glue on your hand just to let it dry and peel it off… did any one else do that. This mask is great expecially since it’s summer and if you’re face burns a bit and gets peely, it will all come off with this mask. I do not suggest using this while in a bath or anytime you’re a bit sweaty, as that will prevent the mask from drying and making it impossible to peel off.
I’m definitely looking forward to trying more and more of their products. I would recommend this to anyone looking for skin care products to use but don’t necessarily want the all of the chemicals in most skincare. My skin is super sensitive, and I am not able to use most products. I was spending 20-30 on cleansers and masks, so it’s nice to have a more affordable option. I’m not saying that these work better, than the more expensive brands, but they do work just as well.

Last month I received a mask, from Formula 10.0.6 in my ipsy bag. You can read about it in last weeks post. Anyway I am back with more products for you. They sent me a ton of products to review, so I am going to break them up into two different posts. This week we’re going to talk about the products I’m using every day.
The first thing I want to say is that I love the simplicity of the packaging, I am definitely one to buy something based on appearance.
Best Face Forward: I’ve been using cleansing wipes to wash my face and remove makeup. They work great but I don’t get the same clean feeling as you get when you actually wash your face, but my skin is too fussy to use my normal face wash both morning and night. So when I’d seen this I was curious to see if I’d be able to use two different formulas of cleansers, as opposed to the wipes.
My first impression was that is smells amazing, and cleanses with out drying out my skin. After using it for about a week now, I can say that it works great. My skin is loving this cleanser. Made with Passion fruit, Green Tea, and Chamomile, this cleanser reduces oiliness, exfoliates and soothes your skin.
P.M. Perfector over night hydrating cream: Clearly this is for in night time. This is made with cranberries to help prevent blemishes. Which for me is great as I can’t use products with salicylic acid (the acne medication in most skin care products) they cause me to break out. There is also Aloe and Vitamin C to hydrate and brighten. The Black Current has minerals meant to hydrate, soften, and repair, While the Licorice has vitamins to assist in skin cell renewal. I use this cream every night and wake up with smoother, more balanced skin.
This product is a lightweight moisturizer, I’ve been using it every night for a while now and my skin feels so soft and smooth when I wake up. I love that it absorbs right in and doesn’t leave a greasy, oily feeling on my skin. I definitely prefer this to the moisturizer that I was using and it’s like a quarter of the cost.
Seriously Shine Free: This mattifying moisturizer is oil free. It’s made with Bamboo which is a natural exfoliant and has a polishing effect on skin. It aslo has Aloe Vera for its hydrating, soothing, moisturizing and healing properties.
If you’ve been reading my makeup posts, you may have noticed that I’ve not been using primer, I feel like this moisturizer can work as one. I have noticed that my skin is not getting as oily as the day goes by which, keeps my makeup from melting away. Another great thing about this moisturizer is that it moisturizes with out clogging my pores.
These products are amazing. I was sold on this brand with just the first mask, but then I tried more of them and it’s just reassuring me that they are a great brand. They even cost way less then the most other products with natural ingredients, I’m not sure if they’re all natural, but I know that there is enough to keep my skin happy. I did notice that the package doesn’t have the cruelty free logo, and I couldn’t find it anywhere on there website, but I did email them and got conformation that neither they or any of their suppliers test anything on animals.

In my Ipsy bag last month I received Pores Be Pure, a mud mask from Formula 10.0.6. You may have noticed that I am loving face masks right now. I think I use them two or three times a week weather it’s a detoxing, hydrating, or deep cleaning mask.
As much as I love face masks, I am still quite nervous when trying a new one. The first thing I do is look at the ingredients, to make sure they’re at least mostly natural. This mask is made with Strawberry, Yarrow and Rosemary. So it is packed with anti-oxidants leading to clean pores and healthy skin. It has a very sweet scent as well.
All you’ve got to do is apply evenly to you skin, allow it to dry for about 15 minutes, rinse with warm water, and pat dry. It’s so easy. When I first tried this mask I could see the impurities being pulled out of my skin. I make sure I use it when every my pores start to be more noticeable, probably about once a week.
I was very happy with this mask, and have been able to get several uses out of my sample sized bottle, so I can’t imagine how long a full size will last, with the very reasonable price of only $6.99 plus shipping. Many other face masks made with natural ingredients cost between $20-25. Who doesn’t love inexpensive products that work great?

My ipsy bag came this week. If you’re unfamiliar with ipsy, it’s a $10.00 monthly subscription with that 10 dollars you get four beauty products, some full size some sample sizes. You can sign up Here!Hikari Shimmer Bronzer– (in radiate) This is a beautiful shimmery gold bronzer. I am definitely going to need to practice using this, as it’s extremely shimmery. I may have been a bit over eager to try it, and had a very golden glittery face, I was way more careful the second time I tried it and had much better results.
Mellow Creamy Matte Lipstick– (in Electro) I love this lipstick. The color is a bit bright (it’s highly pigmented) for me, but it glides on smooth, lasts for hours, and has a nice creamy texture.
The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Lip balm– This is a clear glossy lip balm meant to nourish, restore, and protect lips. It’s infused with Shea Butter, Pomegranate, Rose Hip and Vitamin E. My lips are very dry, so this helped a lot with that.
Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure– This face mask is amazing fused with Strawberry, Yarrow and Rosemary is smells amazing and pulls out impurities.
Smashbox X-Rated Mascara– I love this mascara. It’s gives my lashs a dramatic look, with out getting clumpy.
