I love hauls. Weather I’m watching them on youtube, or reading them in blog posts, they’re one of my favorites. I think it’s because I am not a real social person, and the few people I do talk to don’t get real excited about makeup and beauty products. I don’t really have anyone to talk beauty products with. I love to know what everyone else is buying, using, loving and even hating.
Online shopping is my favorite type of shopping, but only because where I live there isn’t really anywhere to shop. I hate waiting for it to ship. I’m subscribed to only a few Beauty Vloggers on Youtube. One to them is Tanya Burr. Since starting her youtube career she’s also brought out a makeup line, and she uses product from it in her videos all of the time. So with me being the impressionable toddler that I am I had decided that I needed to try them too. And with me being in the U.S. the only way I could get them was from Feel Unique.
Tanya Burr Soft Luxe Lip Gloss– The first thing I picked out was this matte lip color. I got Rhubarb and Custard, and I love it. It has a very sweet smell. It also is an amazing color, but when I first put it on I was a bit skeptical as when it’s wet it’s a very bright pink, but it dries in a more natural coral like color. You can wear it for hours, with out the color fading. It’s been a week and I’ve pretty much been wearing nothing but this on my lips. Once it dries it becomes quite “kiss-proof” which Sharon so kindly tested for me… on my car’s mirror. thankfully there were no kiss prints obstructing my view.
Tanya Burr Perfect Brow Palette I’ve recently gotten into filling in my eyebrows. I have a pencil but I don’t like the way it works much. And since she uses this in just about every makeup tutorial she does this was necessary. It’s great, I love it.. I don’t use the brush that comes with it though, I use a Real Techniques ones. This one is too small. I do however use the tweezers they work great too. I’d never really thought that I needed to fill in my brows, until I got this. Now my look just looks incomplete with out it.
Rosy Flush Cheek Palette. I’ve been struggling with finding a good contour powder that blends well. The one’s I’ve got look fine but I really have to work to blend it, and I am still not sure it’s blended right. With this palette I feel like I’m getting it blended all of the way. The colors are great I love this blush color. The highlighter is very subtle, but I love it.
Tangle Teezer. This brush is fantastic. It has cut hair brushing time in half, as I don’t have to go as slow to not pull sharon’s hair. Don’t get me wrong that girl has a super hero amount of patience when it comes to letting me do her hair. She does however have very long, and tangle prone hair, so like any little girl, she get’s upset when it pulls. Although she sometimes complains even if I don’t pull. So I thought I would try this, and she loves it. Especially with a little bit of Not Your Mothers Leave in Conditioner. I love the shape of this brush, it feels like I have a lot more control of where the brush goes rather than ones with a handle.
I’ve had a great experience with Feel Unique, my order came like a week early, actually it wasn’t meant to be here until next Monday, and I got it last week Tuesday. I did still have to pay for shipping, even thought the website says free shipping on orders over $15, but $3.00 is still lest than anything I could order from here, and to be fair, shipping over seas is expensive so I don’t mind paying the three dollars. I am definitely going to be ordering more real soon.
Do you, or have you used any of these products? What did you think?
Seriously, though, I love hauls blogs, or videos, you can leave links to your most recent haul in the comments.
